Are you notoriously bad at Instagram?
So am I.
Hence the autopilot. A genuine note from one photographer to another.
I shoot events for a living. I can light a finish line at dusk, hold a 200-2.8 steady through a doubles rower's last 30 seconds, and find a hero crop in a sea of arms. What I cannot do, apparently, is post about any of it on Instagram. My account has been stuck around 100 followers for months. Yours probably has too.
Turns out "photographer" and "content creator" are different jobs now. The algorithm wants four reels a week, the right hook in the first three seconds, hashtags split between the caption and the first comment, captions tuned to your voice, watch-time over 4 seconds, save rate over 3 %, and ideally a TikTok cross-post too. None of which is what I learned at photography school.
SnapFlow's social side is what I built because I refused to learn any of that. It's an autopilot for photographers who'd rather be shooting.
You shoot. SnapFlow drafts the carousel. You hit approve from the cab on the way home. The post goes live on Instagram and TikTok before you're back at your laptop.
The actual things it does so you don't have to
Writes captions in your voice, not in ChatGPT-stock
You define your tone of voice once โ short and punchy, technical and dry, whatever you sound like. Claude drafts every caption, hook, and Tips carousel against that voice. You skim, edit a word, approve. No more staring at a blinking cursor.
Tells you why your reels miss
A reels analytics page surfaces the four numbers Instagram actually ranks on โ average watch time, save rate, share count, follower-vs-non-follower reach. A coach button feeds your last 20 reels into Claude and gets back a paragraph naming the pattern: "your finish-line reels hold 4.2 s; your erg static shots drop to 1.8 s โ open with motion, skip static framing." Specific, not generic.
Cross-posts to TikTok with one toggle
Same MP4, hook adapted for TikTok tone. One reel = three algorithms working for you, without you opening three apps.
Splits hashtags into the first comment automatically
The 2โ3ร save-rate trick everyone "knows about" but nobody implements. Five brand-strong tags in the caption, the long-tail block dropped as the first comment two minutes after publish. Configured once, runs forever.
Autopilot drafts your week from your album library
Switch it on and SnapFlow keeps your queue full โ pulling from your existing albums, classifying clips by content type (action, BTS, drone, slowmo, hero), drafting captions, scheduling for your audience's best slots. You review the draft queue once a week and approve the ones you like.
I didn't build this because I wanted to be a social-media-marketing platform.
I built it because I couldn't bear to think about hashtags any more.
If that's you too โ would you be up for testing it with us?
