How to request deletion of your data from SnapFlow, including any data we received via Instagram or Facebook.
If you have a SnapFlow account, you can delete it yourself in a couple of clicks. This is the fastest path and removes everything we hold about you.
All photos, albums, FTP credentials, and connected Instagram tokens are removed within 30 days. Backups roll over on a 30-day cycle, after which the data is unrecoverable.
If you only want SnapFlow to stop accessing your Instagram account — without deleting your photos and albums — there are two equivalent ways:
SnapFlow immediately revokes the access token, stops all scheduled posts, and deletes our copy of your Instagram username, follower history, and post analytics within 30 days.
Meta will notify SnapFlow that you removed access. We then delete the connected account record on our side automatically — no further action needed from you.
If you can't access your account or you'd rather have us handle it, email us with the subject line "Data deletion request" and the email or Instagram handle you used:
We confirm receipt within 72 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with Art. 17 GDPR ("right to erasure").
We retain a minimal record of the deletion event itself (date, anonymised account id) for one year so we can prove compliance — Art. 5(2) GDPR accountability principle.
Email support@snap-flow.org for anything else, including Subject Access Requests (Art. 15 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
